- 1 lb Potato's or 3-4 potato's
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 5-6 Garlic pods crushed
- 1 ½ tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Salt adjust to taste
Tadka Ingredients
- ½ tsp Mustard seeds
- ½ tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Channa dal
- 1 tsp Urad dal
- 1 Dry red chili
- 1 Sprig curry leaves
Making Potato fry
Heat pan and add 2 tbsp oil to the pan. add all tadka ingredients(Red chili, channa dal, urad dal, cumin, mustard seeds) fry until light golden brown
Add curry leafs and fry until curry leaves splitters then add crushed garlic and fry for 1 min or light golden brown.
Add potato pieces into the pan and add salt and turmeric and saute until potato pieces cooked.
Add red chili powder, coriander powder and fry until potato pieces are light golden brown
Garnish Potato fry with coriander leaves and serve hot with dal rice or sambar rice.
