Onion Tomato Raita is a simple recipe with yogurt combined with onions, tomatos, green chilli and coriander leaves. Raita plays important role when making spicy biryani, pulao and other indian flavored rice recipes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Yogurt or Curd
  • 1 Onion sliced
  • ½ Tomato
  • 1 Green chilli
  • ½ tsp Roasted jeera powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp Coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Whisk the yogurt or curd in a mixing bowl.
  • Add onions, tomato, lemon juice, coriander leaves, green chili, roasted jeera powder and salt. Mix it very well.
  • Serve onion tomato raita with spicy Biryani or Pulao.
